The diploma comprises six mandatory units, 20 credits for each unit, totaling 120 credits, 1,200 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT), and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).

Duration and Delivery

The qualification is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, distance, online by approved centres only.

Assessment and Verification

All units are internally assessed by the center and externally verified by OTHM. Assessments are criterion-referenced, focusing on the achievement of specified learning outcomes. To pass a unit, learners must provide evidence demonstrating that they have met all learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

Progression Opportunities

  • Further Education: Upon completion, learners can progress to the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Business Management.
  • University Admission: The qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual, facilitating entry into various bachelor's degree programs at universities.

Requirements

  • Learners must be aged 16 or above.
  • No specific prior qualifications are required; however, delivery centers must ensure learners have the capability to undertake the learning and assessment at this level.
  • Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate English language competency, typically equivalent to IELTS 5.5 in reading and writing.
