The diploma comprises six mandatory units, 20 credits for each unit, totaling 120 credits, 1,200 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT), and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).
Duration and Delivery
The qualification is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, distance, online by approved centres only.
Assessment and Verification
All units are internally assessed and externally verified. Learners must produce evidence to meet learning outcomes.
Progression Opportunities
- Further Education: Progress to a Level 6 Diploma in Teaching or relevant undergraduate degree.
- Employment: Qualify for teaching roles in adult education, further education, or vocational training.
